In case if you have missed Apple’s live event as it happened live and on web stream, here is everything that was announced during the October event , in San Francisco .

The New iPad Air

The New iPad Air. This is the first major redesign since the iPad 2. The device which was rumored to be called iPad 5 is now called the iPad Air. Like the iPhone 5S , the iPad Air is running a 64-bit architecture on a A7 chip, while keeping the same retina display. Also the 9.7 inch iPad Air will weigh just one pound , 5-megapixel camera and claims 10 hour battery life.

The iPad Air will start shipping  to 41 countries on November 1, unfortunately UAE isn’t the list.

iPad Mini with retina Display

Alongside the new iPad Air , Apple also revealed a new iPad Mini with some specs upgrades. Just the iPad Air, the new ipad Mini will have a 2048 x 1536 resolution screen on a 7.9 inch retina display. Apple also  announced that first generation iPad Mini will still be available.

The new iPad Mini with Retina display will be coming sometime in November.

Mac Pro

Apple previewed a radically redesigned Mac Pro at Apple’s developer’s conference in June earlier this year. The wait is finally over. Inside the revamped Mac Pro, Apple is offering a storage options of up to 1TB of flash storage, four USB 3.0 ports, six Thunderbolt 2 ports, Bluetooth 4.0 and one HDMI v 1.4 port.

The new Mac Pro, will start shipping from December.

The New 13 and 15 inch MacBook Pro

Apple have refreshed its lineup of workstation laptops with handful of updates focused on speed. The 13 inch MacBook Pro with retina display is lighter at 3.46 pounds, thinner at 0.71 inches and quicker as well. Running on a 4th generation dual core Haswell chip from Intel , this notebook gets up to nine hours of battery life. The 15-inch MacBook Air uses Intel’s Crystalwell chip, with improved graphic performance and up to 8 hours of battery life.
