Thursday (Dec 19) saw the opening of our new supermarket in Abu Dhabi , which is the our second in Abu Dhabi.

The launch marks the realization of Fucom’s aggressive growth strategy, which is aimed at Fucom aims to open more than 30 stores within the UAE, including the much-awaited Géant Hypermarket in Yas Mall in 2014.

The supermarket, which opened in Marina Square, within the Paragon Bay, becomes the latest addition to Géant’s portfolio of brands in the UAE, which includes Géant Hypermarkets and Géant Easy supermarkets and convenient stores, as well as Geant Online, the UAE’s first Internet-based hypermarket which opened in June this year.

The supermarket in Marina Square is the second Géant store in Abu Dhabi, the first being the Géant Easy supermarket in Khalifa City A.

Situated within a premier location in the heart of a vibrant shopping boulevard, Géant supermarket stands tall on a retail space of over 3,000 sq m. The location provides a stunning view of the Marina and a scenic waterfront promenade. Complementing the supermarket is a portfolio of numerous retail outlets that provide a great outing for just about anyone.
