5 Home Remedies and Beauty Tips

Living in Dubai has its own beauty issue because of its tropical desert climate, extremely hot and humid summer, warm and short winters and irregular rainfall as is typical for the Middle East. Try these home remedies to bring back your beauty the natural way, including eating habits.

Hair

Hair-Fall is definitely most common complaint that you hear regarding health issues after you move to Dubai. There are a lot of things going on in the region that are naturally related to the environment. One thing is the desalinated water, but also the nutritional quality. Follow these home remedies to maintain your tresses the way they should be.

Frizzy hair is a sign of dehydration so do not forget to required amount of drink water. Avocado and olive oils are key ingredients when comes to treating your curly fizzy hair. What you need is a hair mash prepared by mixing avocado and olive oil together two teaspoons will be enough. Rinse clean your hair and massage the mash into your damp clean hair for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it of this helps to tame your fizzy ones and deeply moisturizing it.

Eat Healthy to Fight Hair fall problems:

To prevent dryness, stiffness and discoloration Prunes are the best choice, they can help improve the quality of hair since they are a great source of iron.

When coming to healthy hair egg is your best friend. Eggs are loaded with useful nutrients such as Proteins, Vitamins B12, iron, Zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids.

For moisturized shiny well-conditioned hair that is strengthened have some carrots. Loaded with Vitamin A they are excellent nourishment for the scalp.

 Walnuts contain essential nutrients such has Zinc, Vitamin B, Iron and more Omega 6 fatty acids than any other food which makes it your best hair-friendly nut.

Eat nuts, fish and seeds to receive essential fatty acids for your hair naturally taming your fizzy hair.

 Easy Tips: 

  • Applying oil on your hair before jumping to your pool or leading to a beach as it will work even better.
  • Adding peppermint oil can help you to stimulate your scalp even better.
  • To minimize the side effects caused by the chemicals do add a water filter to the shower it will help reduce your hair fall.

Face

When coming to your face issues acne is the most common problem people face well to treat it you can mix three table spoon of Aloe Vera juice or its gel and four drops of tea tree oils to the affected areas.

For cleansing your face use warm honey in a thin and runny state and mix it with the milk and apply the mixture own your face. There it is your very own ready to apply cleanser at the ease of your kitchen.

For exfoliating your face at any given time mix sugar with olive oil or you can mix sugar with honey and apply it in a circular motion gently on your face. If your skin is too sensitive for sugar and honey you can opt for oatmeal and water as exfoliant.

If you do not want to spend money visiting a steam spa or buying a steamer you can use pot filled with hot water and steaming your face by covering your head with a towel. If you do not want to get into such a hassle just soak a clean cloth in the hot water rinse it of excess water and place the cloth over your face. Do repeat it twice or trice for a quick steam relief.

Body

Most common mistake that people make is when it comes to their body. We tend to forget that even our body needs our attention while we spend hours in front of mirror to figure out “What’s wrong with my face?” Well you can start with scrubbing your body while maintaining it moisture. To do that you will need one of your favorite essential oil and sugar. You can use organic extra virgin coconut oil, vegetable oil, safflower oil, baby oil or almond oil. Mix a few teaspoons of sugar or salt with half that amount of your favorite oil. Take needful amount of mixture into your palm and scrub your body in a circular motion and remember to do it gently. Scrubbing once or twice a week is can keep your skin refreshing and prevent dry dull skin.

Stained teeth

 Mix three teaspoons baking soda with one teaspoon water to form a paste. Scoop up a bit of the mixture with your toothbrush, and use to brush thoroughly. Repeat two to three times per week. Baking soda polishes teeth and removes stains, though it isn’t recommended for daily use because it can be too abrasive on tooth enamel.

The one thing that can ruin your beautiful smile would be your stained teeth. Well you can find its solution in your kitchen too. Mix water with a minimum three teaspoons of baking soda. Use this mixture instead of your ordinary toothpaste and brush thoroughly. This is not recommended for daily use twice a week is better and will give you better results as it removes stain and polishes teeth.

Chapped Lips

Main cause of chapped lips which is common in Dubai is dehydration; hence one should drink 2-3 liters of water per day. You can apply little bit of coconut oil on the lips often to avoid dryness when the climate is cold and dry. Application of aloe-Vera gel or cucumber slice on your lips is another alternative for moisturized lips and keeps them soft.
